Mylia Wolfsabre Roase

Chapter Three....

(artsist unknown)
Calek has fought off several beings wanting to possess Mylia...and she was recently able to let her mind and spirit meld with his body to help him fight and defeat a darker Calek. CalekHntr has sworn that nothing will harm Mylia...and has vowed to join her in death if she is ever killed. Mylia, Calek, the Roases, Callista, Dragone, Boreal and Lord Soth, and several others spent their time awaiting Mylia’s trial and dreading the outcome. However, the trial never has taken place...and the shadow of guilt still hangs over her head.

Mylia is a very honorable person and has risked much to maintain her honor---even her life and soul. She is protective of her friends and was always more than willing to take the place of a fellow Knight or a friend in a Death Match if said Knight had a family. She was once asked: "Which is more important, true love or honor?" Mylia replied: "Honor. You can live without true love, but if you have no honor, you are nothing."

Trylyn Roase made his Aunt Mylia the respected Matriarch and leader of the Roase family clan---which now consists of eleven members. The entire clan adores Mylia and will carry out her orders unquestioningly. Mylia took her son’s name and is now most commonly called either Mylia Wolfsabre Roase, or Mylia Nite.

Mylia and Boreal have recently been informed by the Watcher, Maeve, that she believes Boreal and Mylia were sisters in an earlier life and the girls have called themselves soulsisters ever since then. Mylia shares a deep bond with Boreal, and her soulsister is the only one she cannot hide things from. Mylia and Boreal are closely connected.

Mylia was the maid of honor at Boreal’s wedding when she married LordSoth. After the wedding, Mylia became intoxicated and asked Calek to marry her. Calek said yes and Boreal performed the ceremony. Not five minutes after the ceremony, Virago and ten knights from an unknown circle arrived. They arrested Mylia for Shatian’s murder and informed them that Mylia was to go to trial the very next morning. It wasn’t until later that they found out that Mylia hadn’t been arrested, but kidnapped again.

Mylia was missing for four days. When Calek and the Roases finally found her, she was in bad shape. When she regained consciousness, she had no memory of anyone but the Roases, Calek and Boreal. Shortly after her rescue, LdyLiquid and Tia told her that Talis was dead and she was now a widow.

Tia explained that Talis had decided that he couldn’t live without Mylia’s love so he killed himself. Mylia felt very guilty about this death and tried very hard to remember the man who was her first husband. In the midst of all of this, Trylyn approached Mylia and asked her to adopt him and make him her son. She did.

After doing this, Mylia “felt” Calek die. She raced to the pub and discovered that Calek had been be-headed. Mylia started going into shock. This condition was rendered even worse when Calek’s headless body was placed into her arms. Apparently unable to bear seeing Mylia in this state of catatonia and desolation, Shai`ure sent for Boreal who then summoned Mylia to the Keep. In order to help Mylia, Boreal transferred Calek’s soul into another body---the body of her dead brother.

After one too many arguments, the fragile peace maintained between Calek and Boreal was shattered. Calek found a new body and gave Boreal back the body of her brother. Mylia later found out that Boreal had become angry at Calek for once Again losing his temper and walking away from Mylia when she needed him. Mylia is well aware that she is the only reason her husband and soulsister do not kill each other and she will use that to her advantage if she thinks she needs to.

Just recently Mylia’s missing sister/sire/best friend, Mortina returned to Arangoth. After discovering that Mylia adopted her childe (Trylyn) she challenged Mylia to a death match. Mylia didn’t wish to fight Mortina and tried very hard to resist Mortina’s tauntings and tried to change her sister’s mind. But after having Mortina attack her back several times, Mylia had no choice but to defend herself. To the anger and disgust of all gathered, Mortina succeeded in killing her sister---thereby sealing her fate with certain people. Mortina brought Mylia back to life and disappeared. Mylia was devestated over the hatred Mortina had for her. She had considered going to Atlantis for awhile to be alone and mourn the loss of the kinship with her sister. However, before she could leave, she recieved a summons from the Fire Lords and returned to Firefall.
Mylia returned from the land of her birth and found out some distressing things about her husband and friends. She regained all of her memory and was trying to cope with the things her memory has shown her. Her biggest obstacle was facing her sister Tia with the knowledge of what she did to Talis---and discovering that Talis was alive. Hurt over Calek leaving her in Firefall, and what she found out he had been up to when she returned to Arangoth, Mylia seemed to withdraw into herself. She was devastated when she found out of the affair Calek had with her friend Angelic...and the succubus Daedra.

To the surprise of everyone who knew her, instead of killing her friend, she embraced her to save her life...making her a Roase and Mylia’s daughter. None of the family trusted Angelic and many spoke against her in the beginning, but Mylia was firm on the subject. However...she would never forgive Daedra for seducing Calek when he was in the grips of a demon Ninja.

After Mylia found out about Angelic and Calek, she went to her husband and told him that she loved him...but that he had to choose between she and Angelic. She would not share him. She also told him that if it was Angelic that he really wanted, she would not stand in his way. Calek chose her, and shortly thereafter, Mylia fought the demon who had invaded Calek, thus saving her beloved husband...and in a roundabout way, perhaps even herself.

Furious over the fact that Calek (even if he had been possessed) had almost killed Mylia and the twins she carried, Boreal appealed to her gods and to the watchers...including Myla’s own Watcher Lietra, to punish him for the pain he had caused her soulsister...unknowing that Mylia had recently infused Calek with her powers of the Goddess of Love. The judgement of the Gods was to strip his essence from the twins and revert their paternity back to Talis; strip him of his soul until he proved himself worthy of Mylia (giving his soul into Boreal’s keeping), cursing him to be a God of Love who would never have love returned...and severing all ties between him and Mylia. In a rage, Boreal shattered the wedding rings she had given them that linked their souls. Boreal stated that as long as she lived, Calek would never have the opportunity to hurt her sister again.
